Golfing on the Bay of Lübeck

The Strandgrün Golf Resort Timmendorfer Strand is one of the most beautiful and popular golf courses in Northern Germany and is located directly alongside the Hotel Strandgrün.

It was designed by the renowned golf course architect Dr Bernhard von Limburger and opened in 1973.

With its 36 holes, it is the largest course in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg. In addition, it is a centre of attraction for guests from home and abroad. The two 18-hole courses, North and South, are an attraction for golfers of all levels and the thatched clubhouse is the hospitable centre and landmark of the course.

With 6000 m, 43 bunkers, island green and lots of water, the Hohwacht Golf Club offers golfing challenges and fun in equal measure.

The Hohwacht par 72 course with 18 holes is divided into an A and a B round. You can combine it well with the Neudorf C course. With 6000 m, 43 bunkers, island greens and lots of water, the course offers golfing challenges and fun in equal measure.

The Neudorf course is our venerable “old lady”: It was built around the Golfodrome in 1992. With a length of 2000 m and a par 32, it can be played in the tournament with a handicap. This part of the facility is public. You do not need to be a member of the German Golf Association here. A “Platzreife” (playing licence) is sufficient.

Golf is great sport! That's why our Golfodrome (the practice facility) offers you a huge 5 hectares of target greens at varying distances, where you can tee off from 150 places. Thanks to the circular path around the Golfodrome, your golf balls can go up in the air from continually new positions.

This traditional 27-hole course is located above the Brodten bluff on Lübeck Bay. It is a spacious championship course covering an area of 130 hectares. At many points, the view extends far across the Baltic Sea to the East Holstein and Mecklenburg coasts.

They can be combined to suit your playing ability, and beginners and experts alike are sure to feel at home.

The 27 holes of the Schloss, Warnsdorf and See courses, designed by golf course architect Christoph Städler, are each a challenge in their own right. Different levels of difficulty, challenging design with tricky and fast greens and long courses present every golfer with interesting challenges.
